Heidi’s : Heidi’s in South Minneapolis on Sat. night. I grew up in Wisconsin and have never run across a cheese plate like this. To die for. The food was incredible. Although, as one just wants try as much as possible in a place with this calibre food, I would recommend getting a couple starters and the cheese tray and dessert. Oh, and you probably want to go ahead and get a bottle of wine — for posterity’s sake

Grabbed brunch at the Seward on Saturday morning. Loved the vibe. I had the buckwheat pancakes and they were all healthy like. I wish that I would have gotten the scramble, but then one mustn’t live with regret. Life is too short and the world is too beautiful. Besides, the coffee would have pleased even Special Agent Dale Cooper of Twin Peaks fame.

Sample Room: Went to the Sample Room last night. Delicious and the portions aren’t too big. Total fan. There is also a great Dillinger poster by the bathrooms and there just really isn’t enough Dillinger in the world. So they’ve got that goin’ for them, which is nice.
